Take to the Streets -- Closing Reception

Join us on the Closing Exhibition Celebration June 29 from 3 PM to 5 PM for a live screen-printing demo and poster give-away which all attendees can utilize for their future and immediate activism. “Post them on the streets! Place them in your windows! Ask your friendly pro-democracy places of business to put them up! It makes this call to action an easy lift,” says gallery owner Margi Sullivan.

Artist and Curator Marti McKee shared this statement about their work and the show, “As citizens, artists and political activists, we create our posters to express a clear message of resistance to this cruel and corrupt Administration.  We are self funded.  The posters are taken to the streets and  given out free at marches, rallies and demonstrations.  While we ask for donations to help cover our costs for screens/processing, paper, ink, and sticks, no donation is required. We sometimes sell our posters online or as part of exhibits to help cover these costs. Our posters are created to provoke, inspire, and mobilize.”

All are welcomed to this free event.
